There are thousands of ways to make money online. Here is just a few of the possible ways to make money online. The only limitation is your imagination. This list is just various ways to make money online. Its not intended as a list of ways to make money with a specific web site. I’ll make up that list later.

Blogging

  • Be a Guest Blogger - Many blogs allow guest posts. Some will pay you per post others share revenue through their affiliate links or allow you to use your own in the post.
  • Create a Blog - Start a blog about something you’re passionate about. Add content directed at your targeted audience to attracted readers and keep them coming back. Then monetize the blog with targeted affiliate links and PPC advertisements.
  • Write Content for Other Websites - Some web sites are happy to pay someone to write content for the site. The amount paid per page can vary by quit a bit. Some sites may allow the author to include a limited number of personal or affiliate links while other sites will not allow any links. Also, some sites will pay nothing for the submitted page but will pay a small amount per page view.

eCommerce

  • Affiliate Marketing - If you have a product or service you want to sell then recruit others to help you sell it paying them a portion of yor proceeds in return for marketing your product.
  • Create a Online Store - Create a store using Amazon or eBay API interface listing items that other people already have up for sale. Other people handling all the merchandising, sales, and shipping and handling work while you get paid a commission for referring the purchaser to the item bought. Or if you prefer you can stock the store with your own merchandise and handle all the merchandising yourself. You can also set up a drop ship supplier so you don’t need to handle any merchandise yourself.
  • Create and Sell Your Own eBook - If you’re knowledgeable about something then write on eBook and sell it.
  • Niche Stores - Niche stores are highly specialized online store. Usually selling a very narrow range of merchandise. The Amazon and eBay API interfaces work great for these types of store. BANS (Build a Niche Store) has been used by a large number of people to create their online niche store empires.
  • Sell stuff on Amazon, eBay, Half.com, or Craigslist - These sites are the best known places for selling stuff online. They each get millions of visitors a week providing a great opportunity for resellers. You can sell your own stuff, pick up stuff cheap at garage sales or discount stores, or even sell other peoples items for a commission.

Other

  • Create Tutorials ad How To Pages - People love tutorial and how-to pages. Good tutorials and how-to pages will keep people coming back to you site. You can sell some for a fee or monetize your site with appropriate affiliate links.
  • Offer Consulting Services - If your real good at web development or some other field that people need help with you can offer you services as a consult. Many bloggers and web designers do this as a regular business or to just boost their money income.
  • Online Surveys - There are many online site where you can go to fill out online survey like CashCrate. These sites don’t usually pay very much per survey so usually are worth the time.
  • Provide an Online Service - Build a web site around your idea for an online service. People love services that help them track useful information or make tedious job real easy.

Virtual Real Estate

  • Buy and Maintain Existing Profitable Websites - Buy and maintain an existing web site that is already making money. Prices can vary considerably but will the right expertise these site can pay for themselves in just a few month and provide a good source of income.
  • Buy and Sell Web Domains - The right domain names can be worth a lot of cash. Register domain names that you think will be worth something somewhere down the line. Put up a web page on the page and monetize it some fashion so hopefully it will earn some extra income. Then wait and watch for the right opportunity to sell the domain.
  • Flip Websites - If you know how to make a website attract visitors you can flip websites. By an under utilized website, fix it up (make it so people want to go there), then sell the site.
  • Develop Websites for Others - Create web sites and sell them on sites like eBay or Sitepoint. Selling websites can be difficult and is high competitive but can be very profitable for someone with the right skills.
